Shade canopies of natural materials blend well in our gardens and often give a casual, relaxed feel to an outdoor space.

Non-retractable shade canopies can be created with Natureed® scalloped over beams or bamboo rods. Alternatively, modern metal framed Natureed® canopies , suspended or cantilevered over an eating space or pool area can be elegant and functional.

For many, canopies need to be retractable, perhaps over a pool or a small courtyard, or a deck where in winter one wants to enjoy the sun. Slide-a-shade canopies from House of Bamboo, slide and retract easily, and if wished can be removed in winter. These are available in ready made sizes , but can also be custom made to suit. Naturally, canopies need to be able to be installed in contexts where their weight is able to be supported.
