In this collection of furniture, separate flexible slatted hardwood timber screens are combined with with rubber cushioned light metal frames, creating instant genuine comfort. This contrasts with typical single unit timber deck furniture which is heavy, and usually requires hot and sticky mattress style coverings, vulnerable to mould. Such mattresses typically prevent airflow and are likely to rot over time.

Alternatively, the House of Bamboo slatted timber screens allow natural airflow, give body support and are easily reversed, enabling simple care and greater longevity. The fact that the furniture comprises the two components: frame + screen - makes assembly, disassembly, removal or storage so much easier than typical outdoor furniture.
