  • Boards arrive pre-finished and ready for installation via the click Unilin profile system.
  • Lay boards with the groove side facing downward to allow moisture drainage beneath the deck.
  • Leave appropriate expansion gaps (typically 5–10 mm) around perimeter and fixed objects.
  • Install on properly prepared joists, battens, or subfloors using the click system for seamless alignment.
  • Staggered board layout is recommended for visual appeal and structural integrity.
  • Ensure substrate is level and dry before commencing installation.

  • Store in a cool, dry area; exposure to prolonged moisture before installation may cause surface mould or dimensional movement.
  • Minimize handling during delivery and storage to prevent edge or surface damage.
  • Stack boards flat with even support every 30–60 cm.
  • Do not install directly on soil or in areas subject to standing water.
  • Product is not suitable for fully submerged or continuously wet environments.
  • Termite-resistant (tested against Reticulitermes santonensis per DIN EN117:2012) but should be regularly inspected in high-risk regions.

  • Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove debris and prevent surface scratching.
  • Clean with a soft-bristle brush and mild, pH-neutral cleaner; avoid abrasive pads or high-pressure washing.
  • Allow decking to dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent moisture trapping in joints.
  • Inspect the click system and joints annually for any separation or movement.
  • Reapply compatible protective oil or sealer every 12–24 months, depending on exposure to UV and weather.
  • Address any surface scratches or wear with appropriate touch-up finishes to maintain both appearance and protection.
