A masterclass in linear elegance and structural rhythm. Nestled within the native canopy of Elanora Heights, this residence features our signature Seachange Cottesloe Teak batten screens to create a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow. By integrating the warmth of high-performance teak with the surrounding environment, the design achieves a seamless transition between architectural precision and the tranquility of nature.
Materiality is the silent language of a home, and at this Elanora Heights residence, that language is one of tranquillity and precision. This project highlights our Seachange Cottesloe Teak batten screens, where the built environment and the native Australian canopy blend.
The design centers on a rhythmic application of our signature teak battens across the ceiling and screening, creating a "breathable" architectural veil. As the coastal light filters through the eucalyptus trees, it interacts with the linear geometry of the teak to cast a dynamic play of light and shadow, a tactile atmosphere that transforms a simple balcony into a sanctuary for wellness.
Beyond the aesthetics, choosing House of Bamboo engineered teak shows a commitment to long lasting performance. Designed to withstand the rigours of the coastal elements without the tannins and leaching associated with traditional timber, this installation offers a superior structural rhythm that remains consistent over time. It reflects our 50-year legacy of material evolution: a perfect balance of organic warmth and the uncompromising reliability of modern engineering.
