At Farra Restaurant within HYDE Perth, the ceiling design goes beyond aesthetics, combining acoustic performance and natural materials to support a refined, immersive hospitality experience.
Located within the vibrant HYDE Perth, Farra Restaurant introduces a refined dining experience in the heart of Perth. Designed by Anthology Studio and delivered by CDI Group, the space balances contemporary detailing with a warm, immersive atmosphere.
The ceiling features a custom application of House of Bamboo’s engineered bamboo framing in CW168 Ivory, paired with open rattan panels used as an acoustic layer. This combination brings both visual softness and functional performance, helping to manage sound while introducing texture and depth overhead.
Chosen for its natural tone and consistency, the palette creates a calm, cohesive environment suited to hospitality settings. The open rattan enhances acoustic comfort, while the engineered bamboo framing provides structure and clarity to the overall design.
Farra Perth demonstrates how natural materials can be applied with precision, supporting not only the look of a space, but how it feels and performs. The result is a considered interior where acoustics, materiality, and atmosphere work seamlessly together.
