Opera Series

The Opera Series is designed for spaces where reverberation and echo need to be managed without losing warmth or design quality. That includes conference rooms, auditoriums, studios and open-plan offices, as well as hospitality and educational fitouts where acoustic comfort matters. Opera III's fluted profile suits concert halls and educational facilities where a stronger architectural texture is wanted, while Opera V's flat, micro-perforated face suits minimalist interiors that still need acoustic control, and Opera VI works well where the panel itself is meant to read as a feature rather than a backdrop.

The Opera Series carries a Group 3 fire rating and Class E1 indoor emissions rating, and the panels are free of tannins and VOCs. It's certified to Global GreenTag GreenRate Level A and HealthRate Platinum, and is documented to contribute credits toward Green Star, IS Rating, LEED v4.0/v4.1 and WELL, which covers most of the certification pathways architects and specifiers need for commercial and institutional projects.

Opera panels are supplied pre-engineered and pre-treated, ready for installation. Panels are pre-treated to accept paint finishes or natural oils on site, and are available in WOCA water-based oil finishes (Raw Natural, Teak or Black) as standard, or we can do a bespoke stain with Vernites Italian tintometric finishes offering 26 further colours and a range of gloss levels. As with the rest of the House of Bamboo range, this supports a lower embodied carbon profile than hardwood equivalents, given bamboo's 3 to 5 year growth cycle, while still meeting the fire, emissions and durability benchmarks expected of a commercial acoustic product.
